Experience
I completed a BSc in Applied Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, and am now working towards a PhD in Polar Oceanography at the University of Bristol, in collaboration with the British Antarctic Survey. My research interests include: climate change, ocean circulation, the role of the oceans (especially the Southern Ocean) in regulating global climate, the response of the ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica to climate change, sea-level rise & remote sensing. I also have a keen interest in science policy and recently completed a fellowship at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) in Westminster, where I wrote a parliamentary briefing note on sea-level rise.
